It is during this time of year that most people begin to take inventory of their lives as we embark on the start of a new year. We take the time to examine how we can do things better in the days to come. Of the many areas that we make goals to make improvements we some time place on our list a desire to want to establish closer relationships with the people that we love. This of course includes, our husbands, wives, children and even grand children, but what about the most important relationship of all. That of course should be our relationship with God. As a result, we should on a regular basis take a spiritual assessment of our lives so that we can make changes when needed

Philippians 3:13-14

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
